FWIW i have a model 595 B&D bench grinder. I'm assuming yours is older cast and heavy type. These are really good grinders. This one's nameplate says it's only 1/4 hp 6" grinder but 30 + years later you could feed 1/4 hp benchgrinders into it because they were plastic abominations and overrated in the consumer market.
